Rhoda and I. Elizabeth Fulford

My husband, Carl Fulford, and I were married in 1943 in Dundee, Scotland. My husband was with the Canadian Army (R.C.E.) and I was with the Women's Auxiliary Air Force (W.A.A.F.).

My daughter and I came to Canada on the Queen Mary in July 1946. We travelled by train to Kirkland Lake in Northern Ontario and lived there for 50 years.

I now live in North Bay and have just celebrated my 89th birthday. I have two daughters and one son and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. My husband passed away in 2001.

I have loved my time in Canada and have no regrets.
