Beulah Cynthia Searle

I arrived at Pier 21, November 6, 1946 after a ten day Sea Voyage on the Empire Brent. I travelled by train to London, Ontario, with a host of other War Brides on their way across Canada. The Red Cross and my husband, Walter MacDonald Searle, then in civilian clothes met me at the railway station. We lived in London, until he graduated. We came to Ottawa and I have been here ever since.
