This Asian Heritage Month, the Museum proudly presents a curated selection of five ground-breaking films from the National Film Board of Canada—a powerful showcase of documentary storytelling that confronts difficult truths and challenges perception.

Through delicate animation, hypnotic imagery, and striking metaphors, these award-winning Asian-Canadian filmmakers explore themes of mental health, mass media, migration, and identity. These films immerse audiences in fragmented realities—where history, memory, and modern life collide.

They invite us to question what we see, what we believe, and how we navigate the currents of truth in an era of overwhelming noise.

Supported by TD Bank Group through TD Ready Commitment.
