Ivano and Giuseppina Ciccone

My Dad died in WWII. I got married on March 5th, 1955 to my beautiful bride Josephina. We decided to immigrate to Canada for a better life. On November 25th, 1955 we boarded the Flotta Lora and headed for Halifax. My wife was 8 months pregnant with our first child. We made it to Halifax on December 5th, 1955. Our first Child was born on January 7th 1956. To make a long story short. I started working full time in Port Colborne, Ontario... We had a 2nd child and life was good. Our 2 boys grew up healthy and they both got married. We have 5 wonderful grand children. All healthy and doing well. We are very happy we came to Canada back in 1955. My wife and I have been married for 60 years. We both want to say...THANK YOU CANADA.
