When one of Henry's friends, John K. McGuire, was killed on October 5, 1944 fighting in Holland, he wrote a condolence letter to his family. 60 years later, John McGuire's granddaughter, with the original letter in hand, started to search for Henry. Finally in the spring of 2004, both families were able to meet and share a very emotional experience. Pictured is the newspaper article that told this story.
