Albert Edward Murphy enrolled in the Number 6 District Depot for the Canadian Army (Active) at Halifax, NS on the 4th day of October 1944. His date of Discharge was July 23, 1946. He also served in the Merchant Navy for 9 months. On demobilization he guided the German prisoners on Pier 21. He had a Defense medal for all countries in Europe as well as the volunteer service medal.
