L/Cpl William Joseph Dort

William Dort was born in Canso, Nova Scotia. He served in the Medical Corp and he was in the Military Field dressing stations in England, Holland and Germany. William met his wife, Georgina, when he was stationed at "Marston Green" Canadian Hospital. Georgina was in the British Red Cross. William and Georgina got married in England in June 22, 1946 and Georgina came to Canada in 1946 as a British War Bride. They had a daughter, son and grandson.
