My husband, Theodore, brought me to Lethbridge, Alberta. Having no relatives here we stayed with his friends until we found somewhere to live. I was made most welcome with them and I think Canada is a great country. Theodore passed away in 1979 from Cancer. Our two sons had graduated, one in teaching, and the other in Engineering which he was gratified to see. We spent many, many happy times travelling with them through the Rockies. I worked making telephones and inspecting dials for about twenty years. Having done so has made it much easier for income. I still travel down Eastern Canada to visit my son and daughter-in-law, four grandchildren (two married) and five great grandchildren. Also I have my other son, daughter-in-law and three granddaughters here.
I have been able to travel back to England which I find is beautiful still. I miss my family, but we have phones to keep in contact and my family visits here to see us and the beauty of the Rockies. I enjoy all the friendship I have in this lovely country to the fullest.
