The Eric and Margaret Moody

My husband Eric Moody was in the Royal Navy during WWII and was on convoy duty between the UK and Halifax and spent a period of rest at the Cup Camp on Miller's Island - little realizing that our son would attend that camp. My husband sailed for Canada in July 1952 to join the Royal Canadian Navy, the children and myself following that December. I believe it was the Empress of France on which my husband sailed to berth at Pier 21.
