Teresa and Vittorio Pagnucco

I married Teresa (Teresina) and the next day I was on a ship heading to Canada without her. Talk about making sure my true love was mine although an ocean separated us. We made Sudbury, Ontario our home immediately. Neither one of us knew a word of English, however we had four lovely children, all educated and great careers. My wife passed on at the age of 65 in 1990. I've since stayed on my own, however blessed with caring children and grandchildren.

My sincere thanks for keeping the memory of my wife and me alive in the first city that welcomed us to a new life. Pier 21's Wall of Honour to Immigrants is like the Stanley Cup to Canadians!
