Sjouke and Anna Zwaagstra

Sjouke (Joe) and Anna Zwaagstra (Burghgraef) from Tjerkwerd, The Netherlands arrived at Pier 21 on April 27, 1951 aboard the ‘Georgic’ with 2 sons, Sjouke Jr. (George) and Broer (Gerald). Their eldest son Pier (Peter) arrived at Pier 21 on March 29, 1950 aboard the Beaverbrae.

George married Geraldine Jansma on July 27, 1957.
