Santina Tersigni

My name is Santina Tersigni. I was born in Sora Provincia Frosinone, Italy, February 28, 1943.

I left Italy on June 29th 1952 and arrived in Halifax on July 10th, 1952.

In 1963, I married another immigrant by the name of Gino Rybba and we had three Canadian children: Angela Gina 1964, Jamie Martin 1970, and Matthew Gino 1975. Now we are living in Mississauga and have been since 1974. My heart is Italian, but my country is Canada.

My parents were Antonietta DiPoce and Vincenzo Tersigni, both Italian.

I have six brothers and sisters who have all immigrated to Canada from 1952 to 1960. We all immigrated to Canada and made a wonderful life in this beautiful country.
