Robin Jones

Robin arrived in Halifax, at Pier 21, on February 1, 1967, from Wales, with "chef's papers" in hand. He worked in the culinary field and lived in various locations across Canada, but has been a resident of Halifax, Nova Scotia, since the mid-1970's. He recently retired from the Department of National Defense where he acted as the Director of Food Services for many years. Robin's great bodies of experience in both the kitchen and the board room led him to serve as President of both local and regional restaurant associations. He and his wife, Joan (nee Campbell) have three children (Sheri, Darren and Charles) and one grandchild (Dawson).
