Risto Sekulovski

Risto Sekulovski was fortunate enough to arrive in Canada through the Halifax Pier. Upon his arrival there on November 13, 1961 he was given $20 by the welcoming organizers for his personal use/care, and the rest is history- as the saying goes.

In brief, his travels commenced on June 14, 1959 when he left his birthplace in Krani/Prespa Macedonia (Yugoslavia) and went to Greece. He embarked upon the voyage across the Atlantic on November 4, 1961 and arrived in Halifax on November 13, 1961. Then from Halifax he traveled by train to London Ontario where he resided for 12 years. He now resides in Toronto.
