Olga Nikolajevich

Olga Nikolajevich arrived on July 4, 1951 aboard a liberty ship called the Anna Salen which had been converted to transport troops during the Second World War and immigrants after.

Her family consisted of mom, dad and 2 daughters. They did not speak English; however both parents were fluent in 7 languages, well educated and from an upper class financial background. The conversion of Yugoslavia to communism from a monarchy displaced and disposed her family.
