Nikander and Anna Owcharuk

Nikander and Anna Owcharuk were my grandparents. They were both Ukrainian and arrived at Pier 21 on April 27, 1928 on board the ship, Estonia, operated by the Baltic American line. He was 28 and she was 24. They arrived with their young son Serge (aged three at the time) and Anna's mother, Mary. We believe the ship came to Canada via Poland and Hamburg, Germany.
