Michael, Marjorie, Janet Seymour

I was only 6 months old when my parents and I came from England. We landed at Pier 21 on May 3 1947 on the Aquitania. My parents were both in the Royal Air Force in England. My father (Michael Seymour) before the war had become a naturalized Canadian and returned to England during the war as a bomber pilot. While over in England he married Marjorie Borroughs (WRAF) and was repatriated to Canada in 1947. They arrived in Halifax with all their worldly goods, a 6 month old baby (me) and a yellow Labrador Retriever. They stayed in Halifax for a few days and then proceeded by train across Canada to Vancouver B.C. where they started their life in Canada together.
