Margaret and son Grant Oliphant

My son and I arrived at Pier 21 in April 1946 on the Hospital Ship Letitia. I was a war bride (actually a war widow by that time as my husband John Oliphant of the Canadian Engineers had died July 15, 1945). I decided to come over with my son so that he could meet his grandpa and grandma in Arborfield Saskatchewan. Within a couple of years I met and married a friend of my husband's and we are still together - so that is my story.
