Ludvik Pahulje and Danica Petric

Ludvik Pahulje, unaccompanied by any family members, left his home country of Slovenia, stayed several years in Austria, then in 1948, departed from France by ship and arrived in Halifax at the age of 31 years.

Danica Pahulje (nee Petric), accompanied by her parents and sister, left her home country of Slovenia, stayed several years in Austria, then in 1949, departed from Italy by ship and arrived in Halifax at the age of 25 years.

They married on February 18, 1950 in Lethbridge, Alberta.
