Lucy Carmen Burrows

Lucy Carmen Burrows departed from Portsmouth, England at the age of twenty aboard the ship Aquitania filled with War Brides. She arrived in Halifax at Pier 21 on August 13, 1946. Then she had a five day trip to Saskatoon where she was meeting with her husband and meeting all of his family. Lucy was very nervous about it all.

The next fifty-eight years of Lucy's life were spent with Ed, raising their three children Kenneth, Linda and Judy. They were also blessed with eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Lucy passed away on June 15, 2004 in Grimshaw, Alberta. She was a great lady.
