Leonhardt Karl Knab

Leo sailed from Hamburg on the ship Italia on May 23rd, 1952. He took the train from Halifax to London, Ont. He was looking for his sister, Hilda, who arrived in Canada as a refugee in 1948. She was working at Westminster Hospital in London. Leo began working with City Gas in May of 1952 and was transferred to Guelph (Union Gas) when promoted in 1958. He served in various capacities at Union Gas until his retirement in 1992.
