Jack Teake Hallema

My story is very similar to many others - in the first few months if there has been a road back I would have walked back home - no money, no family, no language. The first farm I worked at he could not pronounce my Dutch name so the farmer said "I will call you Jack" and that is what it has been ever since.

However, it was the best trip I ever made and I am so proud of my Canadian citizenship. "O Canada."
