Hendrik Jan Boer

Hendrik travelled from Nieuwleusen, Netherlands to Le Havre, France, where he boarded a ship called the Samaria. The Samaria was owned and operated by the Cunard Line. He departed Le Havre on March 4th, 1950 and arrived in Halifax on March 14th 1950. The entire cost of the trip and immigration papers was $662.60.

His country of origin was the Netherlands. The destination was Halifax then Toronto then Stroud, Ontario. Hendrik was born April 15, 1931, therefore, he was 18 years old when he arrived.
