Betty Rafuse

Born in Croydon, England. Worked as a telephonist for G.P.O. at the Strand, London, England. Married at 17 on November 24th, 1945 to RCEME soldier, Clyde Max Rafuse. Fifty-five years together. Has 2 daughters, 3 grandchildren. Has been treasurer of Nova Scotia War Bride Association since its beginning.

Note: Originally there was confusion about the date of arrival. All that was known was what day of the week - it was Saturday.
