Sarah Toye

Sarah Toye is a reference assistant in the Scotiabank Family History Centre at the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21. She is a graduate of the University of King's College and Dalhousie University and a board member of the Halifax Women's History Society. She researches family and immigration history for patrons, and her academic work focuses on piracy, gender and culture in the 18th-century Atlantic World.
