About the Film
Directed by Noam Gonick and produced by Justine Pimlott, Parade is unflinching, bold, enraging, hopeful, and brings audiences to the frontlines of history through rarely seen archival footage and first-person accounts.
From police raids and early drag shows to community organizing and the House of Commons, the film honours the activists and elders whose resistance helped secure many of the rights recognized today.
