Join us for an engaging evening with Chef Pamela LeonForde, founder of Café Caye Mangé, as she shares a culinary journey shaped by migration, culture and community. Inspired by her concept, Roots Without Borders: A Culinary Journey of Heritage, Healing & Home, this experience explores the places, people, and traditions that have influenced her life, from Saint Lucia and across Africa to England and Nova Scotia.
Through food, storytelling and music, guests will discover how meals can carry stories of identity, belonging, and home. This is an opportunity to experience the rich connections between culture and cuisine while gathering around the table in the spirit of community.
What to Expect
- A curated menu of Afro-Caribbean and globally inspired vegan small dishes, with each plate representing a chapter of Chef Pamela's journey
- Music that reflects the cultural influences woven throughout the evening
- A welcoming atmosphere where guests can explore the stories behind the flavours and traditions on their plate
