The Museum is pleased to present a unique and celebratory event in support of our Community Presents exhibition Resilience on the Move: Roma People in Canada and in honour of International Romani Day.

What to expect: 

  • A discussion about the history of Roma people in Canada, the development of the exhibition, and the importance of sharing narratives about this unique cultural group
  • Featuring the Museum’s Curator of Temporary and Traveling Exhibitions, Sara England, and exhibition co-creators Dr. Shayna Plaut, Director of Research and Exhibition Development at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and Gina Csanyi-Robah, Executive Director of the Canadian Romani Alliance
  • Romani music and an opportunity to explore the exhibition
