Step into 1957 and travel the immigrant journey from Europe to Canada during an after-hours evening of storytelling, food, craft beer and trivia. Each guest receives the identity of a real immigrant arriving at Pier 21 from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Hungary or Italy, then follows that character's path through the Pier 21 Story exhibition, from leaving home to crossing the Atlantic to clearing immigration in Halifax.
When your journey through the Museum ends, walk to the Annex Building for the final leg of your Canadian adventure at Garrison Brewing. Gather around the table for buffet-inspired bites by the four countries, enjoy a Garrison beer or non-alcoholic sample option, and put what you learned to the test in a light-hearted trivia night.

About Garrison Brewing
Founded in Halifax in 1997, Garrison Brewing is the Museum's partner for History After Hours. Its Seaport Hall is in the former Immigration Annex, once part of the Pier 21 immigration facility, which operated from 1928 to 1971. Newcomers arriving by ship passed through the Annex on their way to Canada, and it's the final stop on your journey tonight.
