The Museum attempts to place volunteers in positions that reflect their interests as well as the Museum’s needs. Though a very specific volunteer role may not be immediately open, the following questions will help us determine the best volunteer fit for you.

Volunteers at the Museum work in a variety of areas. Please indicate if you have a preference regarding the type of volunteer work you will be doing here: (please check all that apply)

Visitor Experience and Interpretation (i.e. engaging with the public within the Museum)

Tourist Season Greeting (Summer-Fall, usually weekday mornings)

Event support (this could include assisting with greeting, way-finding, registration)

Gift Shop support (i.e. customer service/greeting and organizing products/inventory)

Collections/Oral History team support (this could include computer duties, general language translation of documents)

Administrative duties (i.e. assisting with mailing, filing and shredding documents)
