In partnership with Alliance Francaise, join us for a special performance of Un Barrage contre le Pacifique. Adapted from Marguerite Duras’ novel by Maud Andrieux, this play follows a French mother in 1930s Indochina as she fights to protect her crops from the encroaching waters. It’s a story of resistance against injustice, but also a powerful call to action and a reminder to chase our dreams.

What to expect:

  • A French-language theatre production with English subtitles

The Museum elevator will be temporarily out of service. Accommodations will be available for any visitors requiring assistance.
