Order Ship Images
Commemorate a loved one’s immigration to Canada with a personalized ship photo from the Museum’s collection.
Ship images cost $30, plus tax. Shipping and handling charges will apply to all orders. Prices subject to change. Ship images are 8 by 11 inches and are in a clip frame with a personalized caption. Provide your photo caption in the language you wish it to be produced. All languages welcome.
Photo caption examples:
- Peter and Margaret Smith, with their children Alexander, Martha and James, arrived at in St. John, New Brunswick on December 2, 1951 aboard the Ile de France.
- Irma Klassen arrived in Montreal, Quebec in November 1956 aboard the Arosa Sun.
Please note: It is the responsibility of the purchaser to provide landing date and ship name for persons arriving after 1935 for the personalized caption. The Museum does not have access to immigration records, manifest or passenger lists for persons arriving after 1935 under the Privacy Act of Canada. We will not be able to advise you on which ship or date someone arrived if they entered Canada after 1935.
Below you will find the ship images arranged alphabetically. To place your order, email sfhc@pier21.ca, or call toll free 1-855-526-4721 ext. 224 with your caption, the full name of the ship and the accession number (i.e. DI2012.1.1). You will be contacted to make payment arrangements. If payment is by cheque, please make payable to “Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21”.
