German Settlers Day, June 7, honours German, Austrian and Swiss culture and their heritage in Nova Scotia since 1750. In partnership with the German Canadian Association of Nova Scotia, join us at the Museum for a special celebration of history, music and traditional food.

The event will include fascinating discussions on architecture, food and the connection between Lunenburg and the German settlers by Peter Oickle, Blair Bleed and the Museum’s research staff. Music will be provided by award-winning songwriter Carmel Mikol. A reception with traditional German food will follow the presentations.
