the Society for American Wines Halifax Chapter and Arterra Wines.

The California Wine Dinner is the Museum’s annual signature fundraiser. It is an opportunity for guests to raise a glass to our shared heritage and reflect on the important role immigration continues to play in shaping our nation.

Guests experience a memorable evening of food and great wine. Tables of eight ensure an intimate tone and convivial atmosphere. Supporters include business professionals from banking, legal, manufacturing, and financial sectors, as well as their clients and spouses. Guests will enjoy a special hand-selected four-course meal artfully paired with unique Californian wines. The event includes an exciting live auction and raffle draw.

This event is made possible through our long-standing partnership with the United States Consulate General in Halifax, the Society for American Wines, and our winery partner, Arterra Wines.

What Your Support Makes Possible

The funds raised during this special evening go toward ensuring the delivery of educational and cultural public programming all year long. Your support also helps in the creation of exhibitions aimed at engaging communities in the immigration journey, connecting visitors with their own family’s story, and helps to promote diversity and inspire empathy, compassion and inclusion.
