This is a happy story, father was a Canadian soldier from Bathurst NB Mother from Llandovery Wales Uk. Mother and I arrived in Halifax on my birthday age two, Dad survived the war after spending two years as a POW in Germany, HE WAS CAPTURED IN ITALY AND WAS FORCE MARCHED TO GERMANY we were reunited in the fall of 1945 in Bathurst NB, I hope this information helps.
